Terms "cold" and "hot" refer to the temperature of the coils. "Cold" means approximately -10 to 50锟斤拷C (14 to 122锟斤拷F). "Hot"
means approximately 50 to 100锟斤拷C (122 to 212锟斤拷F).
(c) Reconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
NG -- REPLACE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control
Systems/Crankshaft Position Sensor/Service and Repair/Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR - ECM)
(a) Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
(b) Disconnect the ECM connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open):

(d) Reconnect the ECM connector.
(e) Reconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR - ECM)
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK SENSOR INSTALLATION (CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR)
(a) Check the crankshaft position sensor installation condition.

Sensor is installed correctly.
