10. INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU (SENSOR INPUT)

(a) Reconnect the skid control ECU connector.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

for RH

for LH

11. PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK)

(a) Turn the engine switch off.

(b) Perform the sensor check in the Test Mode procedure See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control

Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Test Mode Procedure.

OK:

All Test Mode DTCs are cleared.

NG -- REPLACE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

OK -- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm

Systems/Diagrams/Diagnostic Aids/How To Troubleshoot ECU Controlled Systems/How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

12. REPLACE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

(a) Turn the engine switch off.

(b) Replace the front speed sensor See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Wheel Speed

Sensor/Service and Repair/Front Speed Sensor/Removal.

NOTICE:

Check the speed sensor signal after replacement See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control
