INSPECTION PROCEDURE



NOTICE:



When replacing the brake actuator assembly or yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration and store system



information See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and



Inspection/Programming and Relearning.



PROCEDURE



1. CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)



(a) Check that the part number of the installed yaw rate and acceleration sensor is correct.



OK:



Yaw rate and acceleration sensor installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.



NG -- REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction



Control Systems/Acceleration/Deceleration Sensor/Service and Repair/Removal



OK -- Continue to next step.



2. RECONFIRM DTC



(a) Clear the DTCs See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and



Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.



(b) Check if the same DTC is recorded See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and



Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.



Result:



B -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control
