INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration and store system information See: Brakes and
Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK PART NUMBER (ECM)
(a) Check that the part number of the installed ECM is correct.
OK:
ECM installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.
NG -- REPLACE ECM (for 2GR-FSE) See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Engine Control
Module/Service and Repair/Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CLEAR AND STORE SYSTEM INFORMATION
(a) Clear the system information See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
(b) Store the system information See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and
Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check if the same DTC is recorded See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result:
B -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control
Systems/Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes/Service and Repair/Removal
