HINT
When one of these DTCs has been stored, it is necessary to turn off the engine switch to make it possible for the vehicle to
recognize a new device when it is connected.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (ACC).
(d) Connect a known good USB device or "iPod" to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. CLEAR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Testing and Inspection/Reading and
Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Audio and Visual System (w/o Navigation System).
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. RECHECK FOR DTC
(a) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC occurs again.
HINT
If DTCs are detected frequently, replace the multi-media interface ECU.
OK:
Malfunction disappears.
NG -- REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Entertainment

OK -- USB DEVICE OR "iPod" WAS DEFECTIVE
