B2002 - Open in Seat Belt Motor RH Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The seat belt control ECU receives information from the driving support ECU using CAN communication and tightens the seat by operating the
motor in the front seat outer belt assembly RH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
CAUTION:
The pretensioner is built into the front seat outer belt assembly RH. Be sure to follow the correct inspection procedure, as failure
to follow the correct procedure (such as inspection of incorrect connectors) may deploy the pretensioner.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly RH connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Reconnect the front seat outer belt assembly RH connector.
NG -- REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Seat
Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly/Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
