DTC "C1712/12 Front Height Control Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction" is not output.

NG -- GO TO AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM See: C Code Charts/C1711

OK -- Continue to next step.

3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Data List.

(d) Read the display on the Techstream.

OK:

Normal conditions listed above are displayed.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU)

OK -- Continue to next step.

4. REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU

(a) Temporarily replace the suspension control ECU with a new or normally functioning one See: Relays and Modules/Relays and

Modules - Steering and Suspension/Relays and Modules - Suspension/Suspension Control Module/Service and Repair/Components.

(b) Check for DTCs See: Lighting and Horns/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B241B is not output.

NG -- REPLACE AFS ECU (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY) See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU)

(a) Disconnect the A53 AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) connector.
