CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN

This confirmation driving pattern is used in the "Perform Confirmation Driving Pattern" procedure of the following diagnostic troubleshooting

procedure.

- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

- Turn the engine switch on (IG).

- Turn the Techstream on.

- Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure) See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control

Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear.

- Turn the engine switch off.

- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.

- Start the engine, and warm it up until the engine coolant temperature reaches 75锟斤拷C (167锟斤拷F) or more [A].

- On Techstream, enter the following menus to check the fuel-cut status: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Idle Fuel Cut.

- Drive the vehicle at between 38 and 75 mph (60 and 120 km/h) for at least 10 minutes [B].
