C1280 - Engine Circuit Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
If a malfunction in the ECM circuit occurs, the 4WD control ECU will output this DTC.

(a) Check if the SFI system DTC is output See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear.

C1281 - Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Output Malfunction (Test Mode DTC)
DESCRIPTION
DTC C1281 will be cleared when the master cylinder pressure sensor sends a master cylinder pressure signal or when Test Mode ends. DTC C1281
is output only in Test Mode.
