INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
If the power steering ECU has been replaced with a new one, perform the rotation angle sensor initialization and torque sensor
zero point calibration See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check for DTCs See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC is not output.
NG -- REPLACE POWER STEERING ECU See: Relays and Modules/Relays and Modules - Steering and Suspension/Relays and
Modules - Steering/Steering Control Module/Service and Repair/Removal
OK -- CHECK INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm
Systems/Diagrams/Diagnostic Aids/How To Troubleshoot ECU Controlled Systems/How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
