PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (SECTOR SWITCH)

(a) Remove the back door lock assembly See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk / Liftgate Lock/Service

and Repair/Removal.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk /

Liftgate Lock/Service and Repair/Removal

OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK DOOR LOCK - POWER BACK DOOR ECU)

(a) Disconnect the Y10 back door lock connector and P33 ECU connector.
