C1A02 - Vehicle Information Not Obtained
DESCRIPTION
When a new driving support ECU is installed, it receives vehicle specification information (destination, steering wheel position, 2WD or AWD
information, etc.) from the main body ECU, ECM and combination meter assembly and memorizes the information.
DTC C1A02 is stored when the driving support ECU receives the vehicle specification information from the main body ECU and combination meter
but cannot record it.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.
(b) Clear the DTCs See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Pre-Collision System.
(c) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
CAN communication system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Information

Troubleshooting
OK -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Module/Service and Repair/Removal
