(j) When all of the "ID Tire Inflation Pressure" data (ID1 to ID5) has changed, identify the malfunctioning tire pressure warning valve



and transmitter based on the recorded ID numbers and output DTC.

3. REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING VALVE AND TRANSMITTER



(a) Replace the identified tire pressure warning valve and transmitter with a new one See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning



Indicators/Tire Monitoring System/Tire Pressure Sensor/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal.



HINT



* Before installing a new tire pressure warning valve and transmitter, read and write down its transmitter ID.



* The IDs for the tire pressure warning valve and transmitters that are not replaced should be checked using the tester and



recorded.

4. CHECK REGISTRATION OF TRANSMITTER ID



(a) Register the transmitter IDs for all wheels See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Tire Monitoring System/Testing



and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Registration.

5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION



(a) Perform initialization See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Tire Monitoring System/Testing and



Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Initialization.

6. CONFIRM TIRE INFLATION PRESSURE (DATA LIST)



(a) Turn the engine switch off.



(b) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.



(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.



(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.



(e) Check the values by referring to the table below.
