Electronic )/Testing and Inspection/Registration)
- If the height control sensor is replaced, the vehicle height offset calibration must be performed See: Steering and
Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic )/Testing and Inspection/Calibration.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR
(a) Check the front height control sensor:
(1) Disconnect the height control sensor front RH connector or height control sensor front LH connector.
NOTICE:
Do not drop the height control sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
(2) Connect 3 1.5 V dry cell batteries in series.
(3) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 (SHB) of the height control sensor and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1
(SHG). While applying 4.5 V, slowly moving the sensor's link up and down, and measure the voltage between terminal 2 (SHFR*1
or SHFL*2) and terminal 1 (SHG).
HINT
*1: for RH
*2: for LH
Standard voltage:
for RH
for LH

NOTICE:
Do not apply a voltage of more than 6 V.
(b) Check the rear height control sensor:
(1) Disconnect the height control sensor rear RH connector or height control sensor rear LH connector.
