* Smart access system with push-button start (for Entry Function)
* Smart access system with push-button start (for Start Function)

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally See: Powertrain Management/Computers

OK:
CAN communication DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM See: Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions/CAN Communication System
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Entry Function)
(a) Check if the smart access system with push-button start (for entry function) is malfunctioning See: Accessories and Optional
