Circuit/System Testing
Important: Diagnose any antilock brake system (ABS) related DTCs before performing this diagnostic.
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the X4 harness connector at the radio.
2. Ignition ON, operate the vehicle drive wheels at 5 mph. Test for 3-7 Hertz between the VSS circuit terminal 5 and ground.
锟斤拷 If not within the specified range, test the VSS circuit for an open, high resistance, short to ground or short to voltage. If the circuit tests
normal replace the EBCM.
3. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (See: Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.

DTC Descriptor
DTC B0005 00
- In Park Signal Circuit
Diagnostic Fault Information
Circuit/System Description
The second row power fold and tumble seats and the electronic adjustable pedals (when RPO AN3 Driver Memory Seat is not used) may only
operate while the vehicle is in Park. When the body control module detects the vehicle is NOT in park it will enable the Park Enable PCB Relay by
providing power to the relay control circuit. When the relay is enabled the electrical power feed to the adjustable pedals and second row power fold
and tumble seats is eliminated. Once the vehicle is shifted into Park the BCM will disable the Park Enable PCB Relay and the electrical power feed
to the adjustable pedals and second row power fold and tumble seats is enabled.
Conditions for Running the DTC
* The system voltage is at least 9.0 V and no more than 16.0 V.
* The DTC will only set when the output is actively being requested by the module.
