(a) Replace the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (front right sensor) with a normally functioning sensor See: Accessories and Optional
Equipment/Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems/Parking Assist Distance Sensor/Service and Repair/Ultrasonic Sensor (for
Front Side)/Removal.
HINT
All of the sensors are interchangeable. To confirm whether a sensor is functioning normally, switch it with a known good sensor
from the other end of the vehicle.

C1AE6 - Rear Left Sensor Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (rear left sensor) is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 1
ultrasonic sensor (rear left sensor). If the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (rear left sensor) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function
normally.
