B1625/22 - Side Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The side collision sensor LH circuit (to determine deployment of the front seat side airbag assembly LH, rear seat side airbag assembly LH and
curtain shield airbag assembly LH) is composed of the center airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor LH (for rear side), rear airbag sensor LH
and side airbag sensor LH (for front side).
The side airbag sensor LH (for rear side) detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the center airbag sensor assembly to determine if the
airbag should be deployed.
DTC B1625/22 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the side airbag sensor LH (for rear side).

1. CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH (FOR REAR SIDE)
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
NOTICE:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
