2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Start the engine.

(e) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Active Test.

(f) Check that the swivel motors operate.

AFS

OK:

Swivel motors operate normally.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - AFS ECU)

OK -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE HEADLIGHT SWIVEL MOTOR (HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR)

(a) Temporarily replace the headlight swivel motor (headlight reflector) with a new or normally functioning one See: Lighting and

Horns/Headlamp/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Components.

(b) Check for DTCs See: Lighting and Horns/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B2412 or B2413 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE AFS ECU (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY) See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp

Alignment Control Module/Service and Repair/Components

OK -- END

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - AFS ECU)

(a) Disconnect the A53 AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
