These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the radio receiver assembly.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTC See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Testing and Inspection/Reading and
Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Audio and Visual System (w/ Navigation System).
(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK:
No DTC is output.
NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact
Disc/Radio/Stereo/Service and Repair/Removal
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm
Systems/Diagrams/Diagnostic Aids/How To Troubleshoot ECU Controlled Systems/How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

B15B8 - Hard disk Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the hard disk drive which is built into the display and navigation module display has an initialization malfunction or
read/write errors occur more than a specified number of times.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARD DISK DRIVE (OPERATION CHECK)
(a) Enter the "Failure Diagnosis" screen. Refer to Check Hard Disk Drive in Operation Check See: Accessories and Optional
Equipment/Navigation System/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Navigation System (for
HDD)/Operation Check.
(b) Select "HDD Check" and check the result.
