NOTICE:
Perform the universal trip to clear permanent DTCs See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/U660F Automatic Transaxle
System/DTC Check / Clear.
HINT
- The following troubleshooting flowchart is based on the premise that the engine is cranked normally. If the engine does not
crank, proceed to the problem symptoms table See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures.
- Read freeze frame data using the Techstream. The TCM records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame
data the moment a DTC is stored. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can be helpful in determining whether the vehicle
was running or stopped, whether the engine was warmed up or not, whether the air-fuel ratio was lean or rich, as well as other
data recorded at the time of a malfunction See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Scan Tool Testing and Procedures/Freeze Frame Data.
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (STARTER SIGNAL)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / ECT / Data List.
