(c) Reconnect the stop light switch connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH
(a) Remove the stop light switch See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair/Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Install the stop light switch See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair/Installation.
NG -- REPLACE STOP LIGHT SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK ECM
(a) Disconnect the ECM connector.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
