2. INSPECT THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY (RESISTANCE OF THROTTLE ACTUATOR)
(a) Disconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
Text in Illustration
(c) Reconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.
NG -- REPLACE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air
Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. REPLACE ECM
(a) Replace the ECM See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Engine Control Module/Service and
Repair/Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P2119)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Clear the DTCs See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing
Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear.
(e) Allow the engine to idle for 15 seconds or more.
(f) Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal several times quickly.
(g) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
(h) Read the DTCs.
HINT
The output voltage of the throttle position sensor can be checked using the Techstream. Variations in the output voltage indicate
that the throttle actuator is in operation. To check the output voltage using the Techstream, enter the following menus:
Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Throttle Position No. 1.
