2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU (GSW VOLTAGE))
(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
(b) Reconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NOTICE:
Turning the engine switch on (IG) with the center airbag sensor assembly connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored.
Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.

OK -- Continue to next step.
3. REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
(b) Replace the center airbag sensor assembly See: Relays and Modules/Relays and Modules - Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag
Control Module/Service and Repair/Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTC See: Body and Frame/Locks/Power Locks/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
DTC B1243 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) See: Body and Frame/Body Control
