(1) Release the activation prevention mechanism built into connector B See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing
and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnosis System.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Restore the released activation prevention mechanism of connector B to the original condition.
(b) Connect the connectors to the front passenger airbag assembly and center airbag sensor assembly.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
(d) Turn the engine switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(e) Clear the DTCs stored in the memory See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and
Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear.
(f) Turn the engine switch off.
(g) Turn the engine switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(h) Check for DTCs See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic
Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear.
OK:
DTC B1805, B1806, B1807, B1808 or 52 is not output.
