6. INSPECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Connect 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) in series.
(b) Remove the rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp Alignment Sensor/Service
and Repair/Components.
(c) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 (SHB) and a negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (SHG).
(d) Measure the voltage between terminals 2 (SHRR) and 1 (SHG) while slowly moving the link up and down.

7. CHECK FOR DTC (AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM)
(a) Check for DTCs See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC "C1714 Rear Height Control Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction" is not output.
NG -- GO TO AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM See: C Code Charts/C1711/From 08/2009
OK -- Continue to next step.
8. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Data List.
(e) Read the display on the Techstream.
