16. CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH (FOR REAR SIDE)

(a) Connect the connectors to the rear airbag sensor LH, side airbag sensor LH (for front side) and center airbag sensor assembly.

(b) Interchange the side airbag sensor RH (for rear side) with side airbag sensor LH (for rear side) and connect the connectors.

(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

(d) Turn the engine switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

(e) Clear the DTCs stored in the the memory See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and

Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear.

(f) Turn the engine switch off.

(g) Turn the engine switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

(h) Check for DTCs See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic

Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear.
