DESCRIPTION
This DTC indicates the internal abnormalities of the ECM.
HINT
The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a trouble code is detected,
the fail-safe function remains on until the engine switch is turned off.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE ECM
(a) Replace the ECM (for 2GR-FE) See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Engine Control Module/Service and
Repair/Components.

DESCRIPTION
This DTC indicates a malfunction in the ECM.
HINT
The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all the functions of the cruise control with the microcomputer. When a
malfunction is detected, fail-safe remains on until the engine switch is turned off.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs See: Cruise Control/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Dynamic Radar Cruise
Control System.
(b) Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
(1) Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) or more.
